What We Do

At Skelton Design Solutions, we design and re-engineer products for bespoke and mass manufacture.
Designed with manufacture, sustainability, costs, experience and set up (clients available equipment) in mind, we help people produce product.
Offering a service that allows the client to interact with our designers in multiple ways, building relationships and allowing them to have a personal design department all without the hassle and costs associated with having an in-house design and prototyping team.
We don’t just hand a set of drawings at the end of a project, we discuss ideas, generate concepts, finalise the design and using a network of contacts manufacture if required. At every stage the client is in contact with us throughout the decision process, and if they are self-manufacturing we will call to site to see the prototype development and the manufacturing stages.
We also produce files for 3D printing, laser cutting and CNC machining and with our list of contacts and in-house equipment, we can have such items produced and sent to the customer.

Parametric Modelling Service

Using the latest SolidWorks 3D Modelling software, we provide a parametric and 3D modelling design service. Our certified users design solutions in a 3D format using advanced techniques and advanced understanding of design principles. 3D Modelling has many advantages over 2D modelling, and we offer a wide range of services in this area.

Design Consultancy Service

We provide a design consultancy service for clients. This service focuses on meeting with clients to discuss the initial design and the design requirement. The initial idea is broken down into design components and design concepts are generated. It also provides a fresh perspective and allows for outside thinking to influence the development of a project.

Design Management

We provide a design management service for innovative businesses who have an idea or concept but lack the time to successfully research and develop the idea. This service compares to an in-house research & development team, without the associated hassle and costs. We project manage the R&D aspect for you allowing for minimal disruption to your regular business.
