I had the pleasure of working with Waterford based casting company Veelite during my work with designcore. Veelite produce a range of Industrial and commercial lighting.
The Brief:
The brief was to design a high bay light capable of reducing the heat from the bulb with out using power assisted methods. The unit would require to be fully sealed from dirt and moisture while remaining low maintenance
The Design:
The result is an aluminium casted modular light fitting which answered the brief perfectly.
The unit incorporates off the shelf components along with some custom castings. This reduces the over all cost of producing the unit. The off the shelf extruded box section can be purchased and cut to length as required. This eliminates tooling
